Dr. Kaila Sellars

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Sellars joined the Santa Cruz Naturopathic Medical Center in April 2023. Prior to living in Santa Cruz, she lived and worked in Montana for 7 years. She completed a residency in family medicine and integrative oncology from 2017-2019. She continues to practice integrative oncology remotely at Benefis Sletten Cancer Center in Great Falls, MT. She received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, IL, as well as a bachelor's degree in biomedical science.

She is a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Montana Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the California Naturopathic Doctors Association.


Specialties include gut health, autoimmune disease, integrative oncology and platelet rich plasma. Dr. Sellars' approach to care focuses on optimizing individual needs by utilizing the best of both science and nature.

When she is not at work, you will find Dr. Sellars on the beach with her husband, Matt and husky, Kylo, or rowing with the Santa Cruz Rowing Club.
